Bella Hadid was one of the final surprises of the final season of “Yellowstone.” The model and barzoning actress appeared in one of the final episodes of the series’ fifth season, making sure it went out with a bang, surprising viewers in every way.
Hadid played the girlfriend of a new character played by Taylor Sheridan, series creator and writer. He plays Travis Wheatley, a famous horse trainer who has been a recurring character since the show’s first season. In episode 13 of season five, Whitley gets some more backstory, showing more details of his life, including Sadie, played by his girlfriend Hadid.
This casting has layers. Aside from the fact that Hadid is kickstarting her career as an actress, she’s also somewhat of a rodeo icon. She grew up with horses and returned to playing various horse-based sports thanks to the influence of her boyfriend, Adan Bunuelos, a real horse trainer and cowboy based in Texas.
At the end of the episode, Whitley helps the Duttons sell their flock, facilitating the series finale, which airs next week and marks the end of one of the most popular TV shows produced in recent years.
Why was Hadid in ‘Yellowstone’?
Despite Hadid’s penchant for cowboys and horses, her appearance in “Yellowstone” is still a surprise. It is unknown why he decided to devote more time to acting, the episode also featured a cameo by Banellos himself, who played one of the farmhands at Wheatley’s ranch, and was seen playing a game of strip poker.
Hadid has a short but impressive list of performances under her belt. In 2022, he appeared in an episode of the acclaimed series “Rammy” following the life of a young American Muslim man in New Jersey who is trying to be spiritual while being a modern man. Hadid appeared in the third season of the series and played a character named Lena.
She discussed her debut in an Instagram post. “I’m learning more and more every day, but so bloody grateful for this opportunity,” he wrote. “Thanks to the entire Rami production and above all to my friend, Rami.”
