There, they enjoyed a candle-lit dinner, the company of some friends, and dancing as they performed at their pre-wedding party. They also tasted typical Turkish sweets and Mediterranean dishes, took a sunset boat ride and even posed in bikinis while the princess drank champagne. According to Verrett, his goal was to be to his wife “as selflessly loved and cherished as he was to everyone around him.”
