Jennifer Garner and her kids are participating in a time-honored Thanksgiving tradition. Garner, Finn, 15, and Samuel, 12, were photographed at their local movie theater in Santa Monica, California. It looks like Garner was on chaperone duty, accompanying her kids as they hung out with some of their friends.

They were accompanied by two friends, with Garner holding a boy’s shoulder in one photo.
The group was seen chatting, possibly discussing the film, which is the biggest release of the year and likely to be one of the most-watched films of the upcoming weekend, when many families will visit cinemas to spend time together.
