Devonta Smith returns to practice on Thanksgiving originally appeared on NBC Sports Philadelphia
Eagles star receiver Devonta Smith (hamstring) returned to practice Thursday, a positive development for his availability Sunday. Smith was a limited participant.
Smith missed last week’s game against the Rams and has been dealing with a hamstring injury for several weeks. He was listed as a non-participant to start the week on Wednesday so he’s trending in the right direction.
Having Smith back against the Ravens would certainly be a huge boost.
Here’s the full injury report from Thursday:
Did not practice: CB Darius Slay (suspension)
limited to: WR Devonta Smith (hamstring), CB Kelly Ringo (calf).
complete: RB Saquon Barkley (out), G Mekhi Becton (out), G Landon Dickerson (out), T Lane Johnson (out), C Cam Jurgens (out), T Jordan Mailata (out), OLB Josh Sweat (out)
Slay has now missed the first two practices of the week and is questionable for Sunday. If Slay can’t play Sunday, veteran Isaiah Rodgers could start.
All players listed as limited with rest status on Wednesday were full participants on Thursday.
