Christmas has officially arrived in Monaco and has done so twice. Alberto and Charlene of Monaco opted for simple outfits in earth tones. While the Monegasque sovereign wore a beige sweater and checked shirt, his wife wore a brown turtleneck with palette detailing, brown pants and matching high-heeled boots. The couple coordinated their outfits with their kids. Gabriella wearing a sweater and pants with corduroy bottoms, both off-white, and gold ballet flats with a side buckle; Jack poses in a faded sweater, jeans and ankle boots.

The twins, who will be 10 years old on December 10, are the main characters of Christmas at the palace, as their joy lives these holidays with more intensity and enthusiasm. Some time ago, Albert II said that children usually wanted toys at Christmas, although their interests were constantly changing. He also explained that the first part of the holiday is usually spent in Monaco and they take a few days off to travel abroad, usually coinciding with the New Year. In 2023 they embarked on a trip to Antarctica that they described as “a great adventure for all of us, but especially for them”.

In this sense, one of the most important events organized in the Grimaldi Palace as a prelude to Christmas is a children’s party where they distribute gifts to all the children of the Principality. It was an initiative that Rainier and Grace Kelly and their son wanted to maintain the tradition, which other family members usually joined.
