BBC Breakfast viewers began commenting online after Carol Kirkwood's weather forecast on Wednesday.
The show marked a return to the studio for the meteorologist, who had spent the previous two days broadcasting live from the Chelsea Flower Show.

Carol disappointed many viewers when she said: “If you don't have rain then you'll have quite cloudy skies with some showers,” but she promised sunny conditions would return before too long.

Speaking about the big day, when she tied the knot with her retired police officer boyfriend, who is 13 years younger than her, in front of a “very small” guest list at Cliveden House, the Scottish star said: “It was very small and intimate so you didn't have to worry that Aunt Nelly didn't have a glass of sherry in her hand. You know, that sort of thing.”
Carol described her wedding as “perfect,” despite the fact that she may have been worried about the weather. “There was a hurricane! Hurricane Gerrit, can you believe it? But we didn't even notice it,” she said.
Wasting no time in gushing about her big day, Carole said: “I can't tell you how wonderful it was. You shouldn't really talk about your wedding like that, but it was blissful. It was romantic. It was perfect. And I wouldn't change a thing about that day.”
