Move over Santa because Beyonce is set to make Christmas extra special this year! On December 25, Icon will perform live during the NFL Christmas Gameday Halftime Show.
It’s sure to be a show-stopping performance during the Houston Texans vs. Baltimore Ravens game at NRG Stadium in Houston at 4:30 PM ET. Fans can expect the first live performance of songs from Beyoncé’s record-breaking COWBOY CARTER album
Bey confirmed the news on Instagram with a stunning video of her posing in a classic car decorated with red roses. The 43-year-old looked incredible in a blonde wig, cowboy hat and a white, blue and red body-hugging dress.
The Houston native will deliver this hometown performance fresh off of Cowboy Carter’s historic 11 Grammy nominations – the most for a female artist on a solo album.
While Beyoncé’s lineup for this performance is being wrapped, fans are buzzing about possible guest appearances from artists such as Post Malone, Miley CyrusAnd Dolly PartonThose featured in Cowboy Carter.
Beyoncé fans know this isn’t the first time she’s hit the stage for the NFL. His Super Bowl halftime show has become a cultural phenomenon, since Destiny’s Child Reunited with his unforgettable performance at Super Bowl XLVII in 2013 Coldplay And Bruno Mars In 2016, it attracted 115.5 million viewers.
An NFL Christmas
Christmas lands on a Wednesday this year and Netflix’s NFL Christmas Gameday begins at 1 PM ET with the Kansas City Chiefs facing the Pittsburgh Steelers. This begs the question, ‘Will we even see an appearance from Taylor Swift?’ But the game is in Pittsburgh, and he rarely plays away because of safety. But it’s a huge game, so he can be there to support.
