Chris Hemsworth and his family are no strangers to sports. The group often practices all kinds of activities together, including surfing, motorcycling, horseback riding, and more. In a new post, Hemsworth shared a video of one of his sons practicing boxing. In the clip, Tristan shows off his skills with a variety of people, including trainer and Academy Award-nominated actor Barry Keoghan.
Hemsworth shared the update on his Instagram, opening the post with a video of his son boxing with a trainer. In this, Tristan duly follows the instructor’s rules, punching the pads that are held.
His father can be seen smiling from outside the ring with boxing gloves on.
More photos show Hemsworth and Tristan alongside the trainer, who is named Justin and shares a history with Hemsworth and Keohane. One photo shows Keoghan and Tristan inside the ring, with Keoghan holding up a glove to protect his face and Tristan laughing with one of his hands on his new friend’s shoulder.
Finally, a video shows Tristan struggling with Keoghan, who is on his knees with the younger boy’s height.
“I spent many hours at Fortune Gym Boxing years ago when I first moved to Hollywood auditioning and chasing work,” Hemsworth wrote in the caption. “Being back here with Justin now to watch my son keep sharp is epic.”
Keoghan seemed thrilled to see the post, adding a comment and praising Tristan’s form and Hemsworth’s ability as a father. “Not just a great actor, but a great father and brother!!” He wrote
“Tristan is going to be a real champ!!!”
Both Keoughan and Hemsworth are currently filming “Crime 101,” which explains why they’re training at the same gym and spending time together.
