Philadelphia Eagles defensive end Brandon Graham apologized profusely Monday night after making comments about the relationship between quarterback Jalen Hurts and receiver AJ Brown.
Graham, who is out for the season with a torn tricep, went to local sports radio station 94.1 WIP on Monday to talk about Hurts and Brown. Speculation has been swirling about their relationship since Sunday’s win over the Carolina Panthers. Following the game, Brown (who hasn’t seen much action lately) made it clear to the media that he felt the passing game needed work and that he and Hurts had a lot of communication during the game to discuss and fix what wasn’t working. do not .
With many Eagles fans wondering what could happen to Hurts and Brown, who are known to be close friends (Hurts is the godfather of Brown’s baby daughter), Graham was asked for his take during a radio interview. He then metaphorically stepped into a bucket labeled “Team Stuff You Don’t Talk About In Public.”
“The person making the complaint needs to be held accountable,” Graham told WIP. “I don’t know the whole story, but I do know that 1 [Hurts] Trying and 11 [Brown] He could be a little better with how he reacts to things. They were friends before, but things have changed, and I understand because life happens. But this is the business side, we have to make sure that the personal doesn’t get in the way of the business.”
Just a few hours later, Graham told ESPN’s Tim McManus that he spoke out of turn.
“I really just want to win, man, and I want the brothers to be able to finish it.
“I’m going to make sure I apologize to both of them.”

It’s never great for a team to have the play come out of the practice facility and into the public, but as Graham said, he’s positive it can be something the Eagles (including himself) can learn and grow from, as they’re still focused on the core. By: Winner
