England Storm Into T20 World Cup Semi-Finals With 10-Wicket Rout Of USA

Chris Jordan's 4 wickets and a hat-trick had been adopted by skipper Jos Buttler's unbeaten 83 off 38 balls as defending champions England beat USA by 10 wickets in Bridgetown on Sunday to enter the semi-finals of the T20 World Cup. Buttler smashed six fours and 7 sixes, 5 of them coming within the ninth over in opposition to left-arm spinner Harmeet Singh, as England reached the modest goal of 116 in 9.4 overs. Earlier, returning pacer Jordan bagged a hat-trick in an excellent spell of 4/10 as England bundled out match co-hosts USA for a mere 115.

Returning rather than Mark Wooden, Jordan took all his 4 wickets in 5 balls within the closing over, together with three in a row, to take 4 for 10 in 2.5 overs as USA survived for 18.5 overs.

Earlier, Adil Rashid took two wickets for 13 runs, whereas Sam Curran (two wickets for 23 runs) additionally took two wickets.
