Hockey India on Tuesday introduced the inaugural Masters Cup, a number one event that may see the participation of veteran gamers from the boys's and ladies's classes. The occasion is designed to have fun the eagerness and talent of veteran hockey gamers. All state member items affiliated to Hockey India are eligible to take part within the occasion and all eligible veteran gamers, aged above 40 years, who want to take part within the event must contact their respective member items and register via the Hockey India Member Unit Portal.
The dates and venues of the event shall be introduced quickly.
“We’re extraordinarily delighted to announce the first-ever Hockey India Masters Cup. It’s an occasion that honours the dedication and keenness of our veteran gamers. The event is a celebration of their timeless love for the sport and stands testimony to their invaluable contribution to hockey in India,” Hockey India president Dilip Tirkey mentioned in an announcement.
“By offering a platform for former gamers to proceed to compete, we purpose to foster a robust sense of group and be sure that their expertise and enthusiasm continues to encourage future generations of gamers.”
Hockey India Secretary Basic Bhola Nath Singh mentioned, “This event not solely offers former athletes a possibility to keep up their affiliation with the game, but additionally supplies them with a novel alternative to showcase their abilities and health.
