Jessica Alba gave her son a surprise he’ll probably remember forever. Alba shared a video and some photos of the special moment, sharing a look at the surprise she and her friend prepared for their young sons.
Alba shared clips and photos on Instagram sharing the “Spellbound” themed surprise for her son with the world. The animated movie, now streaming on Netflix, is set in an enchanted land where a princess tries to fix her parents after they’re turned into wild monsters.
Alba and her friends collaborated with Netflix and surprised the kids by bringing “Spellbound” monster trucks with the faces of their movie characters.
“The most epic surprise ever!” Alba captioned the post.
“Between the screams and laughs, it’s safe to say these Spellbound monster trucks made Hayes and Kalik’s year. Thank you @netflix for the surprise. Stream Spellbound if you haven’t already!”
Photos and videos show boys screaming at the monster trucks, unable to believe their eyes. “Are they real?” Hayes’ friend asked Kalik, soliciting agreement from the adults. “Can we drive them?”
“I think you need a driver’s license,” said someone onscreen, instead of giving the boys a chance to touch the trucks and interact with them.
Funny stories about Alba’s kids
Alba often talks about her family and their dynamic, revealing that two of her three children are now teenagers, a stage that represents a significant change from childhood.
“I think it’s easier to get them attached to you when they’re younger,” Alba said on the podcast. Sour. “But I have two teenagers. And they’re like, ‘Oh my God, that looks like a mom wearing it.’ Or, ‘That’s such a mother’s answer.’
Despite her tendency to criticize her daughters, they made some important contributions to Alba’s wardrobe. “And they told us…remember, they were like, ‘No more tight jeans. You have to wear wide-leg jeans.’ And it took us a minute,” Alba said.
