Matthew McConaughey and Camila Alves are enjoying the football season. The married couple shared some photos of their weekend plans, which included watching a University of Texas football game, hanging out with Timothée Chalamet, and wearing some cool cowboy hats.
In the new photo shared by Alves, the pair can be seen enjoying their day, as the two stepped out on the weekend to enjoy some football.
In Alves’ photo of them smiling for the camera in cowboy hats and complimentary clothing, McConaughey wore a brown leather jacket with vintage jeans and boots.
Alves wore a matching tan suit which he paired with an orange sweater and his hat.
More images show them with Chalmette, who attended the game, and a photo of McConaughey hugging Jahda Barron, one of UT’s soccer players. “Today hurts. Mission underway. See you in two weeks,” read some text above the image, referring to the Longhorns’ loss to the Georgia Bulldogs.
His post ended with a photo of the University of Texas marching band and a video, showing a snippet of their performance before kickoff.
McConaughey and Alves’ recreate one of McConaughey’s most iconic movie posters
McConaughey and Alves are not only married; They are also business partners. The couple launched a tequila brand called Pantalones Tequila, with the duo sharing several funny ads over the past year to promote the drink in fun and innovative ways.
Their most recent ad is an homage to one of McConaughey’s most beloved romantic comedies: “How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days.” Released in 2003, the movie stars Kate Hudson and McConaughey as a writer and an advertising executive at a women’s magazine, who, seeking to lure others to their work, start dating their targets.
Spoiler: It doesn’t work and they fall in love, which results in some iconic scenes, including Hudson’s iconic yellow dress, which Alves wears stunningly in their poster.
“You’re so vain, you probably think this tequila is about you,” the post’s caption reads.
