Paris Hilton looks back on one of pop culture’s most iconic moments The heiress and mother of two celebrated the 18th anniversary of one of the most famous paparazzi photos taken during her night out with Lindsay Lohan and Britney Spears in November 2006.
“18 years ago today, this photo became the moment that defined an era,” Paris wrote, tagging Britney and Lindsay, adding “instantly iconic,” and adding her signature phrase, “#LovesIt Siliving #Y2K.” Fans of the reality star shared their excitement after Paris posted the photo on social media.
© Bauer GriffinIt’s not the first time he’s acknowledged the pop culture moment, as he previously detailed what happened that night, after rumors swirled that he had a falling out with Lindsay while being best friends with Britney.
Paris explained that she attended a friend’s party at the Beverly Hills Hotel with Britney, and they decided to leave and go home when Lindsay showed up. However, the pair had some “drama” and were not on the best of terms. “All of a sudden, I looked over, and he was in my car. We weren’t getting along, so I was polite,” she said.
© Bauer Griffin“It was really hard to get out there because I just couldn’t see through all the cameras,” Paris added. She also referenced the iconic moment when she recreated the photo with famous Britney impersonator Derrick Barry in 2017.
© Bratz/InstagramParis shared the photo just last year while Bratz did their own version of the moment, turning the trio into puppets. Although Paris likes to reminisce about Y2K nostalgia, she is now enjoying her new life chapter and her journey as a mother.
“I love my mom Yug. I just feel so at peace, so happy, so grateful for my husband and this beautiful family and life that we’re building together,” she said during an interview on the Today show.
