The Royal Family of Jordan attended an important event this Monday, November 18, at the opening of the first general session of the 20th Parliament, presided over by King Abdullah. King’s words
King Abdullah attended the session, and was welcomed by the heads of the three authorities and several senior officers and officials. In his speech, he emphasized that “this parliament is the first step in the implementation of the political modernization project, on a path that strengthens the role of parties based on platforms and the participation of women and young people.” He also recalled that the objective was to “provide a decent life and empower the youth while preparing them for future jobs.”
