Selena Gomez didn’t expect to discuss the future of her relationship on live TV. The actress, singer and producer was one of the latest guests on “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert,” where she discussed her upcoming project, her Thanksgiving and her relationship with Benny Blanco.
While Gomez and Colbert were discussing his Thanksgiving dinner, he showed a photo of Gomez and Blanco hugging while sitting at the dinner table. “If you don’t mind me asking, where is this relationship going?” asked Colbert, eliciting a surprising response from Gomez.
“Wow!” He said, making the audience laugh. “I thought you were going to ask where this picture was taken!”
“You know what, I’m not sure but I’m having a great time.”
Colbert then looked directly into the camera and addressed Blanco directly.
“Benny, you must think you’re very special, if you think you can do better than that, right? He pointed at Gomez and smiled at him. “And as America’s father, I want to know what your intentions are with America. ? Girl, right there.”
Gomez looked shocked but the two immediately moved on to discuss her relationship and Blanco cooking and an amazing partner all around.
