Throughout your journey, have there been any key lessons in being true to yourself? Could you share it?
Throughout my career or my life—because ultimately I’ve worked for more years than not working—you learn lessons every day, you always get something out of it, good and bad. but If there’s one thing I don’t regret, it’s the courage to take risks. It has been a constant throughout my career, try, dare and not be afraid. And also accept that sometimes things happen and sometimes they don’t.
What does “achievement” mean to you?
Based on the fact that there are people who say that perfection is very difficult to achieve and even more so for perfectionist people like me, for me it means trying to be the best version of yourself. Or at least try to.
What motivates you when choosing a new project or collaboration? What values drive you to take on a new professional challenge?
After all, as an actor, the scripts that come to me, I usually take those in which I believe I can defend the character, in which I understand him. That’s what attracts me the most as an actor. In advertising and other projects, for example, OOTO, we started the brand from scratch and what we did is beautiful. But what attracts me the most is working with brands that share my values and that I can relate to from a real place, which happened to me when Martin Miller’s Jean project came about..
“A trip can change your life.” So says your new collaboration with Martin Miller’s Gene. Do you remember a particular trip that changed the way you see the world?
After all, when you are young and you start traveling and leave your country, know other cultures, other customs… it affects you the most. A great trip that changed me might have been my arrival in the US, it was a great trip.

Well, I don’t know if it’s a dichotomy, Martin Miller went to Iceland to find the purest water in the world. I left my country to earn a living in a complex profession [el modelaje]. And as an actor, the same thing, you have to try to move to try to create work and look for references and be in places where you can go culturally as well.
In this collaboration, we see you in the role of creative director. How has it been for you to take the reins of this project? What idea did you mean by that?
What we did was take inspiration from the Icelandic sweater Lopapeisa and Martin Miller’s gene connection to Iceland. We wanted to give a small gift and connect this connection with my role as a model and creative director.
