Under a bright sun, Monaco celebrated its National Day this Tuesday, also known as Sovereign’s Day or Prince’s Holiday. It is a great day for the Principality and it represents the bond between Monegasque and Prince Albert and his family. For several days now, the small state is celebrating a full program of activities, but it is this November 19 when the high day happens. The Prince, along with his wife Princess Charlene, and the entire Grimaldi family attended the official event.

At 9:30 a.m., the royal family went to the Cathedral of Our Lady Immaculate, also known as the Monaco Cathedral, to participate in thanksgiving. te deum. It was the most solemn act of the day and, in addition to the royal couple, the Princesses Carolina and Estefania, who are the other great pillars of the Monegasque king, and his nephews were not absent. Those who missed out inside the cathedral were Prince Jacques and Gabriella, Alberto and Charlene of Monaco’s children, who don’t usually attend mass, but didn’t miss the rest of the events since the palace. The little princess wore a light blue coat and a headdress, while her twin brother wore a military uniform like their father as usual. In less than a month, on December 10, the youngest members of the palace will turn ten.

Soon after, Princess Estefania occupied another balcony with her children, while Carolina did the same with her children and grandchildren from another large window in the palace, amid Monegasque applause and “Hurray!” Gareth Wittstock and his daughter Kaia Rose were at the palace. Charlene’s brother is already another in the principality’s official life.
